as a parent of a eleven year old autistic son they like to leave and run away, not only has my son left our house once but his school couldn't find him one afternoon until he stopped traffic on a main road.these parents need support and that child needs to be in a familiar envirnment.he must have his basic routine in order to feel safe. i feel for his mother who i know feels guilty enough and just needs to have her child back home
